Expert Witness
The role of the expert witness is to provide an understandable explanation of a technical subject matter in a court of law. During such testimony, a practitioner must present complex technical matters in a clear, logical , and concise manner to a small group of men and women who have little or no training in accounting and often, little exposure to business practices. Then, with no time for extensive reflection or consultation with the client's attorney, the witness must defend that testimony under the probing cross examination of a knowledgeable and often hostile interrogator.
Expert testimony is not for the timid. Beyond the pressures of testimony, courtroom procedures, rules of evidence, and high standards of qualification to serve as an expert witness are pitfalls to the aspiring practitioner.
Our professionals have provided expert testimony in a number of high-profile cases, and have the requisite experience, skills, and demonstrable expertise to perform in this arena.
